About
why Schrodinger's Closet Exists
Many people don’t need to be fixed—they need space.
Space to rest.
Space to eat.
Space to create.
Space to exist without being judged, or micro-managed.
Space to find joy and connection in such a difficult and complex world.
Schrodinger’s Closet was created in response to a gap that keeps widening:
traditional systems often require people to disclose traumas, prove need, or meet financial requirements in order to access resources.
We believe community support should be accessible, appealing and inclusive. Period.

who Schrodinger's Closet Is For
-
People immediately needing basic necessities, resources and food without being asked to prove need or share personal information.
-
Youth and teens who want to feel seen, safe, inspired and independent, without the social anxiety.
-
Families and caregivers seeking structured, transparent, consent-based connection.

What We're Building
We are building belonging infrastructure—starting with pop-up events, fundraisers, and growing slowly and ethically toward more permanent offerings.

We prioritize:
-
human dignity over scope
-
humility over heroism
-
sustainability over urgency

what Schrodinger's Closet Is not
-
Not a shelter, drop-off center, or emergency replacement service
-
Not a disciplinary, behavioral, or corrective program
-
Not a religious or political organization
-
Not built on heroism, urgency, or burnout

These values guide every decision, partnership, and boundary we set.
-

-
Consent – Power, access, and boundaries are handled intentionally
-
Sincerity – We reject performative charity and empty optics
-
Consideration – We center real human needs, not assumptions
-
Space – People deserve room to exist without pressure or judgment
-
Creativity – Art, play, and expression are essential, not optional
-
Sustainability – No martyrdom, no burnout, no urgency-driven harm
-
Community – Care is collective and relational
