Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: January 2026
Schrodinger's Closet is committed to ensuring digital and physical accessibility for all people, including individuals with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and those who use assistive technologies. Accessibility is a core expression of our values of dignity, inclusion, consent, and care. We strive to create experiences—online and in person—that are welcoming, usable, and respectful for everyone.
This Accessibility Statement describes the measures we have taken to make our website and programs accessible, the standards we follow, known limitations, and how to contact us with accessibility questions or requests.
1. Accessibility Standards and Guidelines
Schrodinger's Closet has designed and developed this website with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which are internationally recognized standards for web accessibility. Where feasible, we aim to exceed minimum requirements and implement best practices that support a wide range of access needs.
We have used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to identify and implement recommended accessibility adjustments across our site and continue to review our site as content is added or updated.
2. Website Accessibility Efforts
Site Content and Structure
Our website has been structured to support accessibility and assistive technologies. The primary language of the site has been defined to ensure accurate interpretation by screen readers and other tools. Page content order has been reviewed and adjusted so that information is presented in a logical, meaningful sequence when navigated via keyboard or assistive technology. Heading structures are used consistently to reflect the hierarchy and organization of content, improving readability and navigation.

Media, Files, and Animation
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that images on our website include alternative text that conveys essential information. Color combinations used throughout the site are selected to meet or exceed required contrast ratios for readability. Where possible, we reduce or avoid flashing, auto-playing, or disturbing motion and animations.
Videos and audio content are reviewed for accessibility, and when available, captions, transcripts, or other accessibility features are provided. Documents made available on the site are reviewed for accessibility; however, some documents provided by third parties may not fully meet accessibility standards.
3. Third-Party Content and Limitations
Some areas of the website may include third-party content or tools (such as embedded media, forms, or plugins) that are not fully under our control. While we strive to select accessible providers whenever possible, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all third-party services. If you encounter barriers related to third-party content, please contact us so we can explore alternative access options.
4. Physical Accessibility and Accommodations
Schrodinger's Closet currently operates through digital platforms, pop-up events, and temporary or partner-hosted spaces. We make reasonable efforts to provide accessibility accommodations at in-person events, which may include sensory-aware considerations, clear signage, flexible participation options, and advance communication about access needs.
Because locations may vary, accessibility features may differ by event. We encourage participants to contact us in advance to discuss specific accommodation needs so we can plan accordingly.
5. Ongoing Commitment
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review our website and practices, seek feedback from our community, and make improvements as technologies, guidelines, and resources evolve.
6. Feedback and Contact Information
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website, programs, and events. If you experience any difficulty accessing content or would like to request an accommodation, please contact:
